As a Laguna Beach Family Photographer, it is such a blessing for me when I get to photograph families just hanging out and having fun. For this particular session, I had the honor of photographing the family of a dear friend of mine. I'd met Karyn's family before. They are always such a blast to be around. Kids in general keep me pretty entertained, and her two boys were no different.
As soon as they arrived at the beach all they could talk about was getting in the water. These two are boys down deep to their cores. They love to play, and play rough. They love to run and jump and dig and get dirty! And you know what? I loved capturing it! I loved seeing them be boys and just enjoying their time at Laguna Beach.
Laguna is one of my most FAVORITE places to have a photography session. I mean, after all, we are in Southern California. If we do one thing right, it's beaches (and sunsets)! Laguna is no exception. It is by far one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to!
Karyn's oldest "baby" is a beautiful girl, coming into her own! I first met Jade about 3 years ago at a photographer's meetup that Karyn brought her to. She's a gorgeous girl growing into a beautiful young woman. She is A LOT like her dad. They both sat back and watched as the boys (and mom) ran around the beach like crazy. The boys living it up, and mom making sure they weren't swept away by the ridiculous waves we happened to be having that day.
The whole family was just fun to watch interact together. Of course, since Karyn is also a photographer, her kids are used to (and sometimes totally over) having their photos taken. But they all did such a great job and I'm so happy that I was there to capture those moments for them!
